Everyone Forgot About Venom!!!! The True Spidey Villain!

alright so i know the green goblin and dr. oc were cool villains in the movies. but the producers have forgotten spidermans true villain, venom. i say they should somehow get venom in the next movie. because that would be friggin sweet.

:D I agree ! It would certainly make the next movie phenomenal if they put Venom in it. But the next one is definetly going to be used with Harry, the next green goblin. But like my friend suggests, maybe they'll add in Venom too. Spidey will have to face 2 villians. Both the same .. both evil. But one different .. Peters best friend. HAHA ! What a show-down ! Im sure it'll be great

Yeah, I picked the last one :D! I loved Venom eversince I was 9 or 10 and would always draw pictures of him. Too bad I never kept them :(. Ah well.

I'm getting mixed messages from all sorts of people saying that Venom will and will not appear in the next Spider-Man movie. Can anybody clear that up for me? I'm crossing my fingers that he will!

i wanna know how u say we forgot about Venom when you just joined and probably havnt seen the topics and posts that included the villain Venom, and the producers couldnt have had Venom in the 2 movies so far because they need to persue the story with Harry Osbourne going insane to become GG2

ok well im a *** so you dont always have to listen to me. but i do know that venom is the most awesome spiderman villain..or..of any super hero genre. and the producers could of tryed putting venom in the second and it still could work out fine. like they would have to alter the comic book story a little (like for example venom would be formed by an experiment gone wrong instead of the comic books way). but yeah, im new herr and to lazy to read everything. so there.

what they could do is get venom in the third film and at the very end of the third get a glimps of carnage (seeing how its venoms son and all). that would make my *** fly out of my body then i would eat it and it would grow back.

Everyone's on the Venom drug simply because he's a more recent villain. Remember, Sam grew up with the older original evil dudes. I'm young but I inherited a bunch of my uncle's old 60s comic books so I like GG and that crew.

I love Venom but he can't be done accurately in one film. Anyone who know's his backstory knows that. It takes time to develop great characters and Venom is a great character.

Why has the Spider-man franchise succeeded where others have failed?? Character development. Particularly where villains are concerned. They build the villains up and make them real, give their stories the respect they deserve. Venom has to be given the same honor.

Sam knows how many people want him, but he did say in a recent interview with Empire Magazine, I quote: "Venom is for squares!"

Eddie Brock,(who becomes venom w/ da' suit) was introduced,(very breifly) in the first movie, (a photographer at the Bugle). It seems that the Lizard will be developed in the next movie, as well as GG2, but maybe the seeds for Venom will be planted. Possibly Brock getting fired and the introduction of the suit.

I've said it before in other threads (there are a lot of Venom threads on this site!) but there is no way Venom would work.

How do you explain why Spidey would let this symbiote get on him and let it stay on him long enough for it to start trying to bond with him?

This would have to happen to explain why Venom looks like Spider-Man and to explain the big white spider shape on Venom's chest.

Spidey wouldn't be desperate for a new costume like he was on the Secret Wars planet (Venom's comic origin). Spide could just buy or make another costume if his got destroyed.

Why did Spidey originally let the symbiote stay on him in the cartoon?

Does anyone know the Ulitmate origin of Venom? I'm just wondering if either the cartoon origin or the Ultimate origin would work better.

Talk about it. in the comics, Venom kills sandman, and badly injures more than half of the sinister six. Doc Ock is just another criminal, and the green goblin is a maniacc. Venom, actualy has more character, and ties to fighting spider-man, usualy, the green goblin and Doc Ock just rob a bank or something when spider-man comes along. venom, However, takes the time to hunt and kill spider-man.

Does anyone know the Ulitmate origin of Venom? I'm just wondering if either the cartoon origin or the Ultimate origin would work better.
Ultimate Venom is not an alien symbiote bonded with someone else. it all begins in issue #33, when peter goes and visits his old childhood friend, eddie brock jr., who is currently in college. he shows peter a project that Richard Parker and Eddie Brock Sr.(the 2 guys' fathers) were working on, called venom. Apparently,Richard Parker accidently signed the wrong contract and had it taken away from him and Eddie Brock.Spider-man decides to take the project back, and it turns out to be a protoplasmic suit that cures the user of any illness and enhances their abilities. but of course, like the symbiote in the amazing spider-Man, it tries to take over spider-man, and he gets rid of it. when eddie found out about Peter being spider-man, and him using the venom suit, he took it and he became an insanse creature known as venom. Ulike the regular Venom, the suit has taken over eddie's body, and soon his mind. but, in issue 38 he is gunned down by police, and dissolves. any questions?
