What you want in Spider-Man 3?

-I liked what they did with Spider-Man 2, they developed the storyline & characters, & the writing was much better. I hope they keep it up in the 3rd movie.

-No more "scientist has an accident & becomes mad monster" plots.

-No killing off MJ & Spider-Man? Come on give us an ever after ending! Its a movie, so why not?!! I will SERIOUSLY BE PI**** OFF if they kill of Spider-Man or MJ, or if they kill off both.

-I don't want a 4th movie. That's milking the cow too much, besides even LOTR didn't go that far!! A 3rd movie will complete the series.

-No spin-offs!!

LOTR example of no more movies was weak. LOL

After the 'Return of the King' the story ended. Although some mention having 'The Hobbit' about Bilbo Baggins on screen. I guess you are against that also. Not to mention 'The Silmarillion' and 'The History of Middle Earth' of which there are 12 volumes.

IMO decisions that good stories not be put on film in more than 3's is ridiculus. Not to mention discriminatory to illiterate people. LOL

Yeah, how can you say lotr stopped at 3 when it was based on a book that stopped at 3. Look at what they are doing with Harry Potter. They are making the 4th Harry Potter movie. Peter Jackson even said he's do "The Hobbit" if they could square away rights issues.

This is where everyone can talk about what they think will happen in Spider-man 3, how excited they are, anything new they've heard about it, possible villains, or what they want in it.

I'm hoping for the Green Goblin to return in the form of Harry Osborn. But if they did that there would have to be another villain and I'm hoping for a classic, i.e., Mysterio, Electro, Vulture, etc.

What does everyone else think?

What makes a superhero movie great...? The Villians. Look at Batman 1 and 2, X-Men, and others. In my view, the next Spider-man movie should have Harry become the new Green Goblin, but have a new face in town...VENOM. The ultimate villian, fighting between Spider-man and Green Goblin both. Not taking sides, just taking destruction and names. If that is also the case put in the villian, CARNAGE. You need a strong, powerful villian, one that could match or outrule the power of the hero. classic comic book villians such as these 2. no other villian can compare to Venom and Carnage. Lizard, Shocker, Vulture, and the others seem very plain, weak and boring, Venom and or Carnage would be a great asset to the 3rd movie.

I really hope they put venom (aka eddie brock) in the 3rd spider-man movie cause he is my favorite comic book villian of all time, but raimi is most likely not going to put him in and going to stick with hobgoblin, to go with the story of the movies, also the lizard would be acceptable also since Dr.Conners was in the second movie.

Part 4 should have venom and carnage together. But it just wont be good if they do it now!

I think the 3rd villains will be Green Goblin II (Harold Osborne), Green Goblin III (Dr. Hamilton), and Hobgoblin I might make an appeareance. Probably both will die. Of course in future Spider-Man Series characters like Green Goblin IV, Hobgoblin I, Hobgoblin II, Hobgoblin III, Hobgoblin VI, and Green Goblin I, because Norman Osborne survived, and escaped to Europe.
So what are your thoughts?

I totally agree with you on the whole "more passionate Kiss" thing.. the only thing I was dissapointed about in the movie was that MJ and Peter's kiss did not last long enough in the end.. man he should have GIVEN IT TO HER longer heheheh I am a hopeless romantic, what can I say? I know it's a comic but hey, we need to make a MAN out of Peter Parker (you have to admit, he would fill out the suit better after that) hehehe I am so bad!

I would love to see a Spidey/MJ/Black Cat love triangle. I think this is the storyline that would have the broadest appeal.
I like Venom and Carnage but I think they are too over-the-top for non comic book fans.
Successful movies give the viewers a lot of catharsis and not just eye candy.
That's why Gone with the wind is still the most successful (inflation adjusted) movie of all time.

The SM series send a terrible and wrong message to the world: scientists are dumb and irresponsible.

First, some irresponsible scientist let one of 15 spiders escape. The one bites Peter Parker...

Second, some crazy scientist subjects himself to human testing prior to conclusive testing on animals...

Third, a nuthead performs a demo to a public audience and he screws up really bad...

It sucks because in the real world, scientists test and test and test and before they give a demo, they test and make sure things are perfect.

Scientists do not screw up.
