I just want to get something off my chest about something that has been discussed quite frequently on this message board. A majority of you "true believers" out there believe that the Lizard will be the main villian in "Spider-Man 3". I strongly disagree. I'm sure that Sam Raimi considered using the Lizard at one time, but then realized the fact that the whole "scientist experimenting on themselves" thing was getting old and over-used. I mean, come on! Do you really want to see another scientist turn into a villan for the third time in a row? Plus, not to mention other things that would get repeated, such as the personal/professional relationship that Peter Parker and Dr. Curt Connors have. Sam Raimi said that he wanted the character of Dr. Connors to have only a small part in "Spider-Man 2" so that it would leave that option available for a future Spider-Man movie. Dylan Baker also has mentioned this. So, I bet you're all wondering who I think will be the villan(s) in "Spider-Man 3". Well, for a while, I was thinking that the introduction of the symbiote would make for a good Peter Parker/Spider-Man personal conflict, because as most of you know, it eventually begins to alter his personality, and makes him more aggressive. Also, considering where Mary Jane and Peter Parker's relationship has gone, it would make for some good conflict there, too. Another thing is that it has been confirmed that Daniel Guilles (John Jameson) is comming back for "Spider-Man 3", and in the 90's animated series, John Jameson goes on a mission in space, and comes back to earth with the symbiote attached to his space shuttle. Now, the reason why I believe the villan in "Spider-Man 3" won't be Venom is due to the fact that it would take away from the "reality" feel that the previous two movies had. Not to mention I heard from somewhere that Sam Raimi doesn't like the character of Eddie Brock, even though he's mentioned in the first movie. I'm not sure if that's a fact, or just a rumor that some @$$hole made up.

Don't get me wrong. I would LOVE to see Venom as the villan in a Spidey movie, but realistically it probably won't happen anytime soon. Maybe in a future movie if they plan on making more movies after the third one (exept probably with another cast and director which would probably end up killing the Spider-Man franchise). I DEFINATELY believe that they will spend at least one third of "Spider-Man 3" concluding the conflict between Harry Osborne and Peter Parker. As for my thoughts now on who the MAIN villan in "Spider-Man 3" should be......I'm not exactly 100% sure, anymore. I think it would definately be interesting to put the Black Cat in there somewhere. I read somewhere that Sam Raimi wants Eliza Dushku to play Felicia Hardy, which would be fine if they died her hair blond. Plus, it would be interesting to see a female as the villan, and not to mention the fact that in the comic books and 90's animated series, the Black Cat eventually develops feelings for Spider-Man. She would do curtain things sometimes just to get Spider-Man's attention, and then flirt with him. I'd like to hear some of your thoughts on this. I'll post more thoughts/ideas of mine as they come. Thanks for reading my opinions. I know that it's a lot of information, but it's something that I've been thinking about for quite some time, now.

Stay tuned, Truebelievers!

i've mentioned before in other posts, that venom should come in the 5th movie. 3 symbiote (or whatever they come up with) at end of third, sinister six in 4th. Also work in the Eddy Brock thing, with the Wedding of PP and MJ. At the end the break up of spidey and alien costume. I say sinister 6 because he will be powerful enough to handle them with the costume. And venom in the 5th. I hope they don't do the wolfman, totally boring in my opinion. I know the sinister six thing might not work well unless some of them are introduced in 3 in a great 10-15 minute opening fight scene. What do you think?

That sounds cool. I agree that they would have to introduce/develop Eddie Brock's character if they eventually bring in Venom. I also believe Sam Raimi is planning on throwing in a Peter Parker/Mary Jane wedding scene in the third movie. It would probably cost a "pretty penny" to bring the Sinister Six to the big screen, but that would be such an awesome visual. I also agree with NO MAN-WOLF!!! Man, that would just be rediculously goofy.
