Is Spider-Man 3 in production?

Their not in production yet, but Sam Raimi has finish with the story..............thats about it so far.

they said they'll begin filming very soon

I seen with an interview with Sam Raimi on a website that him and his brother were working on the script and they had just finished.

Sam Raimi and his brother just wrote the story, now they need to have someone turn it into a screenplay, then get a production schedule going, get the cast for the new characters.

I don't think they will begin to shoot the film until the year 2006. If the movie comes out in May 2007, and it takes about a year to film the movie, then they should start sometime in 2006.

They still have a lot left to do before they film. The longer it takes, the better the film is going to be, I think.

Saw the movie today. I am from India. I loved this movie very much. I am die hard fan of spidey and used to read spidey comics when I was a kido. I always wanted to be a hero like him. Here are two dialogues from the movie that I will always remember:
(don't know word to word)

1. With Great Power comes great responsibility.

2. There always an hero inside all of us.

I agree. I'd rather them take their time on this movie and make it a great one than rush something out just to cash in on Spider-Man.

Hey! I'm kinda new to these boards, so I'll say hi to everyone first. HI!

Anyways! They really should take their time on the third movie. The last two have been really great, so the third is going to have high expectations.

My friend's aunt works on the set(lighting) and she said the soonest they'll start shooting is possibly next year. SHe said not to count on it, though.

Thanx! My friend almost got to go on the set, but it was the scene w/the fire, so she couldn't go. She might get to go to the set for SM3.
