It's a marvel comic being made into a movie about the "swamp thing". Sounds interesting to say the least. Here's a tid bit of info on it:

Swamp Thing is the DC character - a kind of eco-hero. Man thing was created by Marvel as a monster - type character. He looks like Swamp Thing but with an elephant-like face. "those who fear burn at the touch of Man-thing" was basically the comic's catch phrase - he doesn't speak at all. Basically if you are scared, and hey he's a huge slimey monster, his touch causes you to burn.

Weird but true. He's fought the Hulk on several occasions and he regenerates from very little.
