Think real hard about this. Remeber every single detail about the parts where Harry find out Spidermans identity and when he sees his father in the mirror and sees the Green Goblin costume. Then vote :D

In the first film Harry did not know that his father was the Goblin. In fact, just before he died he asked Peter not to let Harry know. So I think that by Harry finding out that his father was the Goblin, Harry will realize that Peter was protecting both him and the reputation of his father and will then be on Spider-Man's side. That's what I hope will happen anyway.

I hope that would happen, too. But I don't think it will. Parents or "parental figures" can have a strong impact on people's lives. Look at Peter, for example. Uncle Ben's murder made him swing(on web-lines) around NYC wearing a skintight costume!

As for Harry, there are quite a few reasons why he would still get revenge:

-He has always tried to gain his father's acceptance.
-He was already angry about what happened.
-Being Green Goblin would give him strength that his father claimed he never had.
-His father is telling him to avenge his his(Norman's) death.

I hope Harry forgives Peter, though.
*gasps* Wow, that was long!

But didnt Harry say he refused to kill Parker/spiderman because they were best friends? I think he will understand why Peter did what he did. He did it for the good of NYC and his job is to take out the bad guys. No acceptions. I think Harry will understand that. Plus, I dont think he would want to lose another important person in his life.

Thta's true, but Norman didn't want to kill Peter, either.

And if killing Peter/Spiderman pleased his father, Harry would probably do it. He's already going crazy, who knows what will push him over the edge.

But I'm sure if Harry did try to kill Spiderman/Peter, there would be some resistance at first.

He won't go announcing Peter's identity, because he knows Peter can retaliate by trashing his dad. :o

My theory is....
harry struggles and to forgive pete and still keeps seeing his dad who keeps pushing for revenge. And peter will do something to piss off harry again pushing him over the edge.

They've left it open for Harry to become a villain. Maybe he'll fight it at first...and then become taken over by it...and then become good again. But I sincerely doubt he'll do the moral thing first. I do think he'll tell the Bugle, because he'll have J.Jonah Jameson's son on his side (possibly - because he does work for NASA after all)...and that way it will get back to Jameson.

well first of all Norman did eventually want to kill Peter: "TELL ME HOW!" remember that scene? and second of all Harry might have a drinking problem that sends him over the edge. and if you look through the comics, the Goblin can be very persuasive (especially when it comes to killing Spider-Man). besides, Peter never said he didn't kill his Father either. and it's like spideyluver said the the parents can have more of an impact on kids than their friends could.
