Does anyone know if tobey smokes? Cause heres a pic that's making my question...

I've seen on sites that he doesn't smoke, except for an occasional cigar. That must be a cigar I guess. But I saw that picture the other day and it confused me too.

That is also that first pic I have seen of him smoking. It looks more like a cigar than a cigarette. That dosen't make it any better, though.

If he dosen't, then good! It's a good thing he dosen't want to rot his lungs.

If he does, oh well. It's his life, so let him ruin it! ;)

Seriously though, especially if you are an actor, you should not smoke.

A second thought, no one should smoke no matter who they are.

3 good reasons why not to smoke:

1. Gives you bad breath
2. Gives you yellow teeth
3. Makes your lungs look like moldey chocolate. Trust me, I'm in the medical field and I have gotten to see smokers lungs before (cadavier labs and lots of xrays!)

But it everyone's choice why to or not to smoke. I just hope that people realize that it isn't healthy and we need to take care of ourselves!

when i've gone on several different websites i've read a variety of different smoking habits of Tobey Maguire:
1. he does not smoke
2. he does not smoke, except for a cigar occasionally. or..
3. he smokes cigars often.

the first time i saw that picture i was like "NOOOOOO!" cuz i was really hoping that Tobey Maguire could be one of the few Hollywood celebrites that don't smoke. so i guess it's either 2. or 3.

i know that Kirsten Dunst HATES smoking and she said that she's only tried one cigarette in her life and hated it, and that whenever she has to smoke for a role, she makes sure it's a fake cigarette. [hmm..i wonder how fake cigarettes are made..maybe the "smoke" is in the form of a vapor??] on imdb.com, they really emphasized how much Kirsten is against smoking. i'm happy that she is :D

I've just seen him with the occasional cigar but I doubt he's a smoker,haven't seen a tabloid where it says he's an official smoker,so thats good.Thank goodness,hm...I wonder if he's a good kisser...yummerz!;)

Yes. We have to keep in mind it's his choice. We can't go up to him and start screaming at him about it for two reasons:

1)We would get arrested.

2)It's his choice.

*Tobey Maguire exits a Best Buy and starts to make his way to his car in the parking lot. He pulls out one of his "occasional" cigars*
*A bunch of Tobey/Spider-Man fans [most of them girls] come out from behind some bushes and begin to approach him.*
*Tobey sees them coming towards him and gets a bit nervous.*
*He flinches when one girl steps foward and snatches the cigar from his hand and asks, "What do you think you're doing?"
Tobey: "Uhhh..."
*Then all the fans start to yell at him about the evils of smoking*
*The yelling gets louder and louder."
*Tobey is terrified and thinks "What's up with these chicks?"*
*Just as the fans are apporaching the height of their yelling, two body guards come up from behind and have them arrested.*
