I just think that its strange how there all against conformity but alot of them dont realise that they have conformed to the emo way of life.


I had a bad experience at a pub one night. It was an emo club and everyone was looking at me funny like I walked in naked or something. I realised it was because I wasnt wearing black. ALot of them were really rude. I just wanted to watch the live band

so yeah..i'm a moderate emo... i shop at hot topic, listen to "emo" bands, wear black shirts...mostly, i'm drepressed quite a bit, etc.

but the slitting wrists thing is an urban ledgend...unless you've got a mental illness or you like self mutilation... but emo's can kick your *** in the mosh pits...

ryan--it's simple, learn actual singing, notes and all, then incorperate it into your band...people tend to misunderstand that it's not as easy as listening and given'er....if you learn proper technique, your range, harmony...it seems boring but it helps in the long run
