Yep. I just invested at the beginning, giving the brilliant ideas(I'm so modest ;)j/k) and then we all worked together to start this.

You know what would be so cool? If Sony offers us club members a pass to go on the set of Spidey 3 for a day. That would be so awesome!!!!!

You know what I found to be really odd?

When I went to Universal Studios Hollywood, the ticket stub I got was one of Spider-Man, but they didn't have ANY Spidey prop stuff or scenes or anything to be honest, set up around there.

I don't get it. Maybe they do now that it has sky-rocketed to such extreme heights. Woohoo!!! Do you know what I just thought of!!! MAYBE!!!! They will make a Spider-man ride like they did Back to the Future and Jurassic Park!!! Holy schiekies! That would be the ultimate!!!!

*I head out of this thread with high hopes of a SM ride the next time I go there...something to do with a swinging sensation...*

Me and my mom made it this morning(took us two hours) and it looks so freakin' cool(I'm really excited about it).

Thanks! They're pretty easy to make-just cut a 5 inch by 5 inch square out of the fabric-actually, there are plenty of sites online about how to make them, so you can look on one of those. ;)

Oh wow! Thanks THWIPP!! Maybe in time they will bring it to Hollywood. That's what they did with the The Tower of Terror in Disneyland California Adventure Park. Have any of you been on that ride? It's awesome!!!! But back to Spider-Man, hopefully it'll be just a matter of time, before they put one in Universal Studios Hollywood since it's a big hit in Orlando.

They didn't cut off too many, but they did cut off part of the scene when they introduce Aunt May & Uncle Ben. They even cut off the scene when Peter & MJ talk before he saves her & they have their big kiss in the rain. I think they even skip several lines. For ex., remember when Norman asks Peter who Harry is dating and he goes "Well, sorry, But Harry hasn't mentioned her." & says it in a tone like he knows. That made me mad. I was very cranky about that. But I was still happy that they showed it, but I wished they would have shown the whole thing without having to edit it.

But who knows they might of kept "Oh my g-? so don't know... if they put gosh their fine.. but why would they cut the Uncel Ben seen? Plus I never understood why did Peter'cry' must guys don't? Unless you guys out there want to say if you do.

Who said anything about overthrowing you?!?! I know I didn't. I am sure that SMG didn't either. We just wanted to keep in the search. It wouldn't do any of us any good to let you all get so far away that you were never found again, now would it? And no, we don't want your parents to kill you either. That would be just as bad if not worse!!!

I didn't get to watch any t.v. today because I had to work from 0800 till...well, actually 0730 tomorrow. I'm on a bit of a break right now. FINALLY! It's been a long day. But, I did see the commercial for the SM showing on FOX T.V. I don't like watching shows on t.v. for the very reason that everyone said happened. They always cut something out...so silly.

Oh I'm so glad that your essay went well SMG! I work better under pressure too. When I'm under pressure, I have to put all my energy into it, so it ends up being really good. Funny how that works eh?!

My Turkey Day was long, but very amusing. Some highlights of my day:

-At my grandpa's house, me and my cousin had a discussion where I would say something, then he would say "Why?" and then I'd explain it more, and everything I said he said "why?" after it. It was annoying and hilarious and the same time. Eventually I ended up saying over and over:

My Cousin: Why?
Me: Because his wife left him.
My Cousin: Why?
Me: Because he sucks his thumb.
My Cousin: Why?
Me: Because he was a mean old king.

You kinda had to be there, I guess.

-When we went bowling, they had a...SPIDEY BOWLING BALL on display!!!! I was so excited. I think I have convinced my family I am on the verge of freaking out over anything that has any connection to Spider-Man.

-Then there's the usual highly entertaining discussions my family has at holidays. We went from baby names to how to cut potatoes. My family is weird. How do you think I got how I am? LOL ;)

Well, that's my Turkey Day. And I'm glad no one wants to "overthrow" me. I'm also glad more people are helping! Even though all we do is post who's missing, it's still hard work. Because let's face it, this club has a lot of members.

Man, I'm glad someone else agrees with me that Fox edited Spider-Man a little too much. I was annoyed that they cut off some of the good parts. The movie was fine the way it was, & I'm mad that they edited it. I hate that they cut off several good scenes & that they skipped some lines in the movie.

i think you're right spideymoviegirl. it looks like fantasy art. perhaps an illustration of a "what if" in Peter's mind. for starters, it's set in Paris.

Yup, that's the way people outta be. True to themselves, and not try to be something they are not. I used to try to be a people pleaser when I was in elementary, but now that I'm older I'm true to myself and I don't really care what people think of me. I haven't posted in a while. Ahh! now there is a mountain of paperwork on my online Spidey desk!*(I have a lot of posts to read)

But I am glad everyone else is having a fun time. I got the DVD, it is cool, but I am going to have to buy it on widescreen too, cause I notices a few scenes from the theaters where(on the DVD in Fullscreen) they changed the motion to fit the screen. So I will have to buy the other one two, if I suddenly have a surplus of unclaimed(not needed) money. I also got a cool little spidey figure for my keychain, sortof big though. So I have been thinking of Spider-man, I just haven't had a chance to get on here for a while.

I accidentally walked into my parents room when they were wrapping presents once. They should put up a sign that says, "wrapping gifts, do not enter." But I just tried my hardest to forget about what I saw and come Christmas time, I had forgotten all about it. I think I am going to get a lot of Spidey stuff this year.

Anybody have this problem,-> when I was looking for gifts to buy for others, I constantly kept on wanting to buy Spidey things for them. Like a Spidey popcorn can, or poster and stuff. And I had to stop myself a few times to realize that I was buying for them, not me. Anybody else do that? I ended up buying a few Spidey stuff for myself anyways, like a 2005 pocket calendar, only $1.67, and a 87 cent spider-man action figure for my keyring.

My little brothers birthday was a few days ago, and he got three Spider-man series tapes (from the 90's or so), they were cool. Ultimate Villain Showdown and such.
I hope that all made since, I sort of just jumbled a few things together.

Have you ever come across any persons who really resemble a character from Spider-Man?

Well, when I went to the Met [Metropolitan Museum of Art] during Thanksgiving, I spotted the splitting image of Peter Parker in the gift shop. I couldn't believe my eyes. Brown hair, pale face, black-rimmed glasses, apparel consisting of white collar shirt, blue sweater, and jeans. And the biggest thing that topped it off was this big photographer's camera slung over his shoulder. Whoa, I went crazy. I know it's a very common look, but this guy was off the charts; it was almost as if he did it on purpose [carrying around that camera]! *Sigh* He was a with a girl, but she didn't have red hair ;).

Okay, I actually finished the trailor GIF. I went to my parents faster computer and did it rather quickly on it. I haven't been able to find a place where I can save the big GIF yet, it is 6 mb. But, I made a small one that is only 347kb or so, and I put it in my signature if you guys want to see it. The timing isn't exactly right at some of the scenes, but it is hard to make them perfect.

She's been super busy and has had some kind of computer problem I think. But hopefully she'll be able to come back soon!!!!! Good catch though SG4302! It is a sadness when SP21 is gone.

You're welcome! I'm glad that I was able to help make your signature more complete. That scene is also one of my favorites. I think right there he's just pouring out his soul to MJ. It chokes me up every time I watch my SM tape.

Somebody asked the question earlier, what Spidey stuff did you get for Christmas? Well, I got a lot of spidey stuff. When people ask want you want for Christmas, and you say, "Spider-man stuff". They often get you spidey stuff, so I got a lot of spidey stuff for Christmas.

I got both DVD's, 1 and 2, on widescreen(call me crazy for wanting both widescreen and fullscreen, but all my family likes fullscreen, while I like it on widescreen, so since I already had fullscreen, I asked for widescreen on both).

An amazingly Spider-man college size football that I never saw before in my life anywhere, I didn't know they made them. A spider-man trash can, Spider-man monopoly!, a spider-man poseable action figure, some Spider-man comics, and a frame for one of my spider-man posters. It was a great Christmas. Remembering what Christmas stands for makes it even better.

A cool thing,
I play basketball. So the people on the team saw my spider-man obssesiveness, and ever since, they have given a lot of their Spider-man stuff to me. It is great.

My team is called the Saints. Hey, have you seen my Spider-man website? If you want we can talk on the chat there. The guides here don't like it when we turn threads into chat threads. If we chat about Spider-man, they don't mind, but about anything else, it has to be somewere else. Plus the chat on my site is a lot quicker, a while back, us club members use to chat there more often, but it has slowed down considerably.

WEll, you will think that I am the sensitive girl around the world and that what I did is CRAZY ,but I will say that ,when I read this scene in the book, I cryed because the words of MJ were so beautifuls and because ,finaly, Peter get MJ.
Then when I saw the film for the first time [and after read the book like three times] I didn't cryed in the theather ,because I alredy was expecting that that scene will be so emotional ..and because in fact I already had memorized some part of the dialogue...lol

Wow, can you believe it is 2005! It seems like just yesterday, I was watching fireworks in Brasil to celebrate the end of 2003. This whole year has gone by quickly.

Here are two topics to talk about-
1.What important things have happened to you this past year? /and
2.What are the coolest Spidey related thing that happened to you this past year?

For me,
1. I got my driver's license, my first car, and my first job. My family moved into a bigger house in the city.
2. I got to see the Spider-man 2 movie many times, and I got it on DVD, plus the game too. I added some very cool comics to my collection, and I got some very cool posters and such from the guides on these boards.

2004 has been a great year. I can't wait to see what 2005 brings.
