is it just a rumor that venom is going to be the new villan?
because if it is spidey would hgave to go into space, cuz that's how he got the symbiote suit..unless raimi made it like he found the suit in a lab

The more probable scenario for the introduction of the symbiote could be taken from the pages of Ultimate Spidey, where the suit was created in a lab to help people with weakened immune systems fight off diseases. The living suit boosts the person's immune system, so in Spidey's case, it would enhance his powers. I think that sounds a bit better than the original story, where Spidey gets his alien costume from a machine on another planet after he ruins his old costume in a big battle with all sorts of villains and heroes in the "Secret Wars". Thanks for that one, Beyonder. The space shuttle story with John Jameson is pretty fishy too...I don't think we need anything coming down from outer space just yet. Let's leave space to Star Trek and Star Wars, why don't we?

There have to be multiple story arcs, because we all know Harry's destiny, although Raimi is as likely to make him the HG as GG2. I don't believe Church's looks will have any impact on the casting decision, other than gender. Note that for every villian, there is always an origin sequence in the movie. Too many villians (like a Sinister Six scenario) would be an overload of origins. I submit the following unmentioned possibilities as food for thought. Electro, Shocker, Kraven, and the Jackal. I think Kraven has a real shot.

I though of this plot, and I still have to work out all the details of the story, before I put it on here, but it involves Connors becoming the lizard, but paint him more as a victim, and have Kraven capture the Lizard only to set him free on his his huge estate so he can hunt him for sport, so Spider-man throughout the movie is trying to help his friend connors, and ends up having to battle Kraven in order to get to the Lizard and help him. I imagined an awesome fight scene in the jungle, where Kraven sicks tigers, mountain lions, and a whole lot of chimpanzees after spider-man.

Sometimes it's better to end that way. Sequels usually get worse as you go on, but if Spider-Man 3 is better than the last I wouldn't be so sure.

that's true, but if the cast and director sticks around, and they have the same determination to make a good movie, I think they can go to 6. Sam already said he knows he can make part 3 better then part 2, and he also said he already knows part 4 could be better then part 3.
