For those of you who are wondering about the picture of spidey wih a black suit on. If you follow the TV series closely, Spidy was overtaken by a parasitic symbiote for a time that bonded with him for a time and made him stronger and more acquite in his abilities. If you follow the TV series closely, Spidy was overtaken by a parasitic symbiote for a time that bonded with him for a time and made him stronger and more acquite in his abilities.Eventually, Spidy had to get that symbiote out because the symbiote wanted to take over Spidy and become a host to Spidy and try to rule Spidy. The costume on in the picture is because they are following the actual story line when Spidy had bonded with the parasitic symboite before he had to get rid of it when it tried to control him. I have to give them some credit for actually trying to follow the story line without blowing everything out of proportion!

I wait that this black costume will be symbiote.
the story line that follow the movie is how the tv series, if you follow the tv series , maybe you remember the battle between spidey and goblin on the bridge, and mj with they.
The experiment of dr ock, is similar to the tv series.

The black costume is when spiderman was taken over by venom initally, similarly to superman with red kryponite peter parker did not like the aggressive effects it has on his personality and so rids himself of it.
If you look colsely at the eye of the costume you can make out venom jumping twords him(in the black suit poster)
Agree or disagree???

if u can make a photo and show us where is the venom face in the lens...i see only a man standing there

I'm sorry, but I just think its all in your head. Now honestly.
If you were making a photo for the upcoming Spider-Man movie, and you put Spider-Man the same way he is kneeling and everything.
Would you put Venom in his eye so small, that people have to go to photo shop to see?
Oh and this is directed towards Spyder Formula Design.

hummm.... yea, i would

Being a designer, yes I would put the image so small that you need photoshop to see it, for the initial teaser poster. And I think that the design studio and the P.R team may at this stage use a very small teaser like that right now, consider that they have to tell you on the web site that it is not a black and white photo, so right away you can see that they are not moving in a promotional direction that will involve throwing it out there for everyone to see and understand right away(it is a teaser) only a indepth fan would understand the significance of the black suit , being that spiderman has only worn the black suit when he was joined with venom. And if that detail was not important they would not have said that it was not black and white photo, and left you to believe what you would like
If you look at the image in the eye closely you will see that the figure is not standing it is jumping arms up and torso back in a sterotypical venom posture, also the figure is bauld and most know that spiderman does not have many enemes that are bauld, none that are popular enough characters to put in the movie anyway.
Agree of disagree????

I'm still going to disagree. Now you say its just a teaser and they dont want to give too much away. But can you answer this?
You just said yourself, that the black costume Spider-Man is wearing is from Venom.
Meaning Venom is in the movie. So do you really think that putting a big picture of Venom in the eye of Spider-Man is a bad thing, since you already know he is going to be in the movie?
And no, it doesn't look like Venom at all to me. It looks like people are trying to look at it to hard. There is nothing in his eye, except a reflection of a buildng or something.
But thats what I think, we don't know for sure whats in his eye, but I'm sticking with what I said.

If you zoom in on the eye you can see a figure, you can clearly see the posture that the figure is in. if you look at the head area of the figure, you can see the shape, possibily one of the white eyes and a suspicious toung shape coming from the mouth area.
They wanted you to see something in the eye or else they wouldnt have put anything at all, when is the last time you saw a reflection in sunglasses at night in a rain storm???
They would want to tease us with venom letting us know that the character is in the movie, (the black suit , the suspicious reflection) so that we know, but they would not at this time want to show us what they have made venom look like, how they have stylised him like they did with spiderman.

Since when did Spider-Man wear sunglasses? The eyes on his costume, clearly have a reflection on them because it's not even that dark. Sure if you want it to be Venom in his eye thats fine. How about I take the picture and draw the shape of Green Goblin thats not really there myself?
Oh and you'e trying to tell me that they dont want us to know how Venom will look? Yeah because if they showed a picture of how Venom looked, I would not go to see the movie at all.
I'm sorry, but you just aren't making that much sense.

Super Neo,
I have been watching the banter between you and that other character, I took a look at the image myself and I believe that he may have a point. the figure looks an awful lot like venom.
I think that what he was saying was that spidermans lenses are tinted like sunglasses and so would have the same reflective properties in low lighting conditions.
My vote is that there is a believable and reasonable argument that that is venoms reflection.
Look for yourself. He may be right and in 400 and some odd days we will find out.

Ok, so you spell Spider the same way as the other guy you claim might be right does. So I'm guessing you made another account to back up your oppinion, which is sad. And I also can't take you seriously.
Anyway from what I can tell, his lenses arent tinted like sunglasses at all. It would be nice if someone could get a close up picture of his lenses in the daytime.
Anyway, it wouldn't make sense for Venom to be in his lenses. Spider-Man has the symbiote costume on.
And it is night in that picture. But have you noticed the huge amount of light from the moon? Enough for a building to reflect in his lenses.
But I'm not saying I'm right for sure. But I don't think it's Venom.
Maybe we'll find out who it is in like 400 days like you said. But who knows if they'll even talk about the teaser picture in an interview?

The lenses are not sunglasses but are not transparent or translucent. They are reflective and that being true will not reflect in low light.
Secondly i am also a graphic designer, and wehn you design a poster for a movie or theater or anything else alonge those lines there are four ways of initally setting up the layout, one of them being "cast/character" which is very popular for film posters and advertisments showing only the person(s) and/or place(s) and/or object(s) in the story without reference to the events.
so they could show him wearing the black suit and venom in the reflection. it also could be symbolism of spidermans own torment while wearing the suit.
Thoughts??

You are both graphic designers? You are the same as Spyder Formula Design arent you? If you want to be taken seriously, don't make new accounts to back yourself up.

I assure you that I am not the person. Is it that strange to you that two people with the screen name spyder are on a "spider man message board"
I spell it with a y because that is how I used to tag it in my college days, i have not idea why the other uses this spelling.
I am a freelance designer, amonge other things.
Take it easy befor slinging insults and try to comprehend that there are millions of people online
two people both designers, both using a screen name haveing to do with the word spider on a spiderman fan site, not that strange to me.
So just take a stress tab and relax

I didn't insult you. I said if if you are him. Don't take everything so personal.
Anyway, I am sticking with my answer.
I just don't see why they wouldn't make Venom bigger in his eye if like the guy said earlier, he knows anyway. So they have nothing to spoil.

I uppose it was intended to raise stimulating conversation among fans.
I predict that in the next teaser you will see a clearer image of venom, to put it all to rest. First the black suit and a hint of something, then the undeniable image of our black antidentite friend.

whos' spidey formumla design? i don't remember him
If it is not the synmbiote, or venom wont be in the story at all, then why do they show this picture emophasizing that it was not a black and white image??? they totally know most of of are dying to see venom. and we know the cannot cut the symbiote saga in 2 movies that is just weird unless they want to make a carnage or something later on in other movies. so i think harry wont become GG2 until spiderman 4 and well see venom first appearance in this movie.
