Starburst: How have you dealt with the frenzy of being in a Spider-Man movie?

Thomas Haden Church: I don't really think it's started in earnest. There was certainly a flurry of media interest last spring when they announced in the trades that I was going to be doing the movie. And the character's identity was hidden for a long time, it was supposed to stay hidden but it was accidentally revealed by Kirsten [Dunst] at a press conference for Elizabethtown.
So the publicity people at Columbia had to shift gears a little bit, because Topher Grace is the other nemesis - we're different tough, I'm like the arch villain and when you first meet me, that's where it starts, and it's like the villainous nemesis battle, whereas Topher's character is a real guy throughout most of the movie, and he doesn't become a 'villain' until the very end of the movie. So it's a little different, there's more emphasis on the villainy with my guy from the very beginning of the movie.

I only assumption we know that he is a 10minute villan is the article removed from AICN from an unknown source. Thats not much to go by. But if it is I think maybe we will get one fight but he may change into venom earlier and play with spidey a bit before he attacks.

Better have some Venom then no venom. But at the same time some Venom may be just little enough to ruin the entire idea behind his kick-a$$ness. We will just have to wait and see what Sony says about this entire villain fiasco. I just hope that Venom is in ONE of the movies whether it be 3 or 10. (Even though the contracts only last for three movies :()

So many fans love Venom with so much enthusiasm and to find ou that Venom is in the movie for 10 minutes or 2 minutes or wtv the case may be is heartbreaking. Venom is my favorite villain of all time. But if he's only in it for 2 minute only to star in SM4 is still not enough. Fans have been waiting forever for him. And so he's finally in the third. But then you tell us that he's only in for 2 minutes only to star in SM4, tha'ts what really pisses me off!
I don't think Sandman should have a longer appearance then Venom cause Venom is 1000000000000 times better then Sandman! Venom deserves the best and not a 2 minute appearance and not for you to tell us that your dissing him agan and making us wait another 3 years for SM4. There's a reason some plp go on spiderman.com almost everyday just to check the days counting down to SpiderMan 3, 1 day at a time. 1 of them is to see our favorite villain come in and fight our favorite Superhero! And to tell us that he in the movie for 2 minutes is insulting. That's my word.

everyone knos that the movie will be good even if u see venom 10 minutes....i mean for christ sake sandmans a awesome villian...i dont mind him hoggin all the movie
