Tobey MAguire...he´s good for the role,what i don´t like is that the spiderman is all generated by computer..is´n it?...so i don´t understand why Maguire has to put a suit on...just for the interaction scenes?..but hey...the difference will be noticed,i think.the teaser show a computer generated spiderman and it looks really fake on a real world scene,folks.personally,i think that Wes Bentley is the person i would had choosen for the role,and i think that Kirsten (i love her so much,really) is not the right girl to be the girlfriend....too young i think,i would had choosen Leslie Bibb...as you can see i have a mind of moviemaker,jeje...and i´m from Argentina,very far to know what´s happening...anyway,good luck to all the makers of the film and keep up the good work...(altough i don´t know about the "artifitial" spider-man....just remember the spawn)

Toby will be playing Spiderman in the closeup and some action shots, but the more difficult scenes, where he'll be swinging from tower top to tower top, will, however be in CGI.

thanks for the reply..now i get it ..but the diference will be noticed? i think yes is the answer..is maguire the one who climb the wall on the other video? well, "maguire" forget about him ,i think he did like 10% MAXIMUS the scenes on the spiderman suit,let´s say the stunts.
other thing...the producers did´t think in that technique of blue screen behind the actor,i know that the spider suit does not aloow that...but a green screen instead? the guys doing all the jumping and stuff and all that is passed,connected to a real scenario by the computer..that would be cool.

I'm not sure i'm understanding what you are asking, Capo. But if I'm reading it right, it all depends on how tough the stunt will be, Toby, in some scenes, will be doing his own stunts, but others will be done by stuntmen or CGI..............so hopefully that'll answer your question :)

thanks gwen...what i meant is that the computer generated spiderman probably will look very different to the "flesh and bone" spider-man..so i´m thinking in that technique of blue screen (kinda like Phantom menace) altough the suit doesn´t allow it,so a green screen,jeje.
now i took out of the dust some old spiderman comics books and i´ve been reading those comics..really funny.
well,hope that the movie is gonna be great,but look out Maguire....I´M THE REAL SANDMAN,I´M BACK AND YOU KNOW WHAT? KIRSTEN IS MINE,JAJAJAJAJA!!!!!!!!!!!

The main argument for CGI over green screen is that given the speed and agility of Spidey many stunts would be impossible for even the most athletic of stuntmen to do. Plus with the standards of CGI at such an advanced staged the crossover from live action to CGI should be difficult to spot(just look at the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park 3).
Anyway, there's probably plenty of green screen being used as well.
