The Alternative Venom…

Lets say that the makers of spiderman have Venom/ but dosn't use his original orgen because it's a little far-fetched. What do you think sould be an alternative way that Venom can become Venom. (Something different from it being from space...)

some dude hates spidey and he gets mutated, so he puts on a resemblant suit so people will think its spiderman ad he gets spiderman in trouble by wreaking havoc

I know its sucks, but it only took me a few seconds

Maybee Eddie Brock should be one of the researchers at that lab with the spiders (That Peter Parker got bit at). And Eddie would find out about the mutated gene in the spiders that can effect others DNA when in contact. And mybee he should be one of the people that spidy stopped about 3 or for years ago. So now he is out of jail and found out about the mutated spider, he injects himself with some spider's DNA. Then will wheir the venom costume with a hole cut out for the mouth (but without the crazy tung). And there- Venom...

i dont think theres any reason why they cant say its from space
they cant however use the Secret Wars origin
but they already introduced John Jameson, and explained that hes an astronaut, so maybe 90's Cartoon Venom?

Alternate?? I cant see how they else they can get a symbiote thats from earth. But I am guessing that they will use Eddie who will like gwen but she likes peter so can never love eddie. So he then hates peter for that reason. You could also use Betty aswell

They could just use the Ultimate story :). Parker's father worked on a suit before he died that had the potential to cure cancer but they sold it to STARK industries, which in turn got rid of them. Later when reuinited with life-long pall Eddie Brock peter tries to continue the experiment by himself but gets the suit on him. And we take it from there :cool:

That could work/ but I don't think Petes father should be involved, because he wasn't realy a scientist in the movie; he even was talking about in the first movie that he knew nothing about computers.

I think that he should have a crazy voice too/ but not the voice of venom from ultamate spiderman ( Sounded like he was throwing up wile he was talking/ and it was a little too forced)

Back on topic - I hope they do have Venom's tongue, because I agree it's a big part of his visual look, plus it's creepy and scary and Venom is supposed to be creepy and scary.

hmm this would be really off the spiderman story line. But maybe u see harry trying to construct something to make himself stronger than his father ever was to kill spiderman. In this process of creating a living body suit, he s****s many until he makes his own. One of the ones thrown out finds spidey,then finds eddie to make it a big triangle.

Look exactly like spider-man with Dark eyes and the same shape as spider-mans with some bright white teeth but not long or sharp but definatly noticable

True about the tongue, also, I think it makes a huge physical distinction between Spidey-wearing-Symbiote and the Venom-Symbiote. With Spidey, he's just a sentient outfit - but with Brock, he's a monster, and the tongue demonstrates that.

I like the origins of the original Venom from the comics except how it was just thrown onto the planet by the Beyonder and they didn't realize it was intelligent and so Spider-Man thinks it's like mana for him there.
But I noticed a Moonwolf action figure was out recently now (with growl/howl action button). Does this fortell the coming of the Moonwolf in a future installment perhaps in relation to finding an alien symbiote on the moon (ala the 90's cartoon)?

Hmm, well what do you think if Symbiote-Spiderman and Venom were created at the same time? It would save some time, but then, combining that to what THC said: Topher is going to become a villain only in the end, would mean that symbiote-spidey would be created in the end too.

i dont really care how they put venom in just as long as he's in this one. venom was and still is arguably spidermans greatest foe. if raimi and the production team arent going to have venom in the movie, (or are just going to have venom appear at the end; which is even worse); then i just hope its leaked before i foolishly hand over money to see yet another venom-less spiderman movie.

PLEASE!!! cant take any more boring villians. Excuse me, but the adventures of Spider-Man were built on more villains than just Venom. You're not going to see a movie just because Venom's not in it?

Spidey's faught other cool villains too! That just seems ludicrous to me. Green Goblin was a good villain, Doctor Octopus was a FANTASTIC villain, and THC as Sandman looks DEAD-ON. Boring villains? WHAT boring villains?

This movie doesn't sound like a true Spidey fan. I love Venom but if he's not in the movie I'm still gonna go see it. In fact, I'm gonna see this movie multiple times just like Spidey's 1 and 2. Sandman will own you!

srry but i think that would look stupid :(. Venom needs the tongue and the crazy teeth (not too exaggerated) to be Venom. Otherwise hes just kind of a bizarro spiderman. He also has to be significantly larger than Spiderman, not like Hulk size but at LEAST like Juggernaugt (from XMEN 3) size.

I remember Raimi once saying he wanted to keep the focus on the Spidey films in New York - so adding the outer space element might be pushing it a little far.

That would be cool. But it would cost a lot. Well, they have the money...
What would also be cool, is that if the shuttle crashes, then Spiderman could go there, and realise that the crew has being killed(by Jameson under the power of the symbiote), and then Eddie could go there too, take a pic of Spiderman and the dead crew. Then he escapes, and we have the city against Spiderman. Of course, John Jameson is dead too, so this could add something between Peter and MJ. Peter could realise that MJ still might have had feelings for John etc.

The rumor was out a while ago but there is supposed to be a giant shuttle scene which happens on the brook bridge in NY. The shuttle is supposed to crash and someone other than Spiderman is supposed to help as well :). The rumor went on to hint toward Harry trying to help people when the shuttle crashed but idk about all that. I just know that there will be a shuttle crash.
