I started with this. I took this picture of a close of the corner of a cheap halloween venom mask.

then I opened a new window, flipped the original image, and used the clone stamp to make the other half of the mouth to make this

then turning the image upside down, and using the clone stamp in another window I started to make the top teeth, which I then used the liquidator tool that's under the word Image at the top of the screen, to stretch them out till they looked like this.

then I pasted and resized it to fit on the picture I had made with the complete lower jaw to make this.

then I used that to paste it on here to make this.

then through lots of liquidator experiments and resizing experiments I got it to fit inside the alien head, using the paint brush, the dodge tool, the blur tool to get it to look right, and have the lighting right so it didn't look like a cardboard cut out mouth in front of an alien head.

each step took a lot of time and several tries and starting over to get it to look right.

That venom manip was actually the second manip I had ever done, and when I set out to do it, I had no idea how I was going to make it, I just kept thinking, and theorizing, experimenting, and trying untill I got it to look how I wanted it to look. all in all making the eyes and reshaping the alien head, and even playing with the highlights surroudning the eyes, and making the mouth that picture took me several hours.

make sure that every time you make a new part of something to paste onto your picture you use the variations tool located under the Image submenu to help you get the sading right, and I had to do a lot of that each time I added part of the mouth on.

and when pasting part on like for example when I pasted the top teeth onto the lower jaw, I used the blur took on darken, to so the edges of teeth didn't look weird, like they weren't really there. you'll notice in the one pic, the top teeth have weird edges where the lighting doesn't look right, but in one of the next pics, they look like they are totally supposed to be there. you don't want anything looking out of place or looking obviously like it's from another picture.

another good way is to use the lasso tool, and simply draw a selection line, so you can use the variations inside that line to lighten untill it's much lighter. that way you can keep the angles of light and shade the same, while giving him a white eyes.

did you notice the two posts after that one? there was like 9 pictures in all of the intermediate steps, I posted just to give you and idea on how to think outside the box, when trying to make stuff. I figured if I was gonna harp on ya, then I should at least try to help you so you can at least know how to make stuff on your own.

I have to say, I'm really getting a kick out of the fan art on this site, particualrly this "3" poster which replicates the image from the first film. I find the black/grey Spidey contrasting his standard red and blue reflection to be a nice touch.

here's a full pic of his costume. it's weird, to be sure, but it's India's first introduction to Spiderman, and "each page is lavishly produced with high quality artwork never before seen in any Indian comic magazine". So I'm grateful that Spiderman is gaining more fame. I hope it becomes popular over there.

I just thought you all should know. Comics are fairly popular in the USA, but most find them childish and for kids. The USA only consumes 3%of all the worlds comic sales. That is not a lot at all! Europe consumes 20% and Japan 30%. Comics are really popular in other countries, and they consider them to be for all ages. Like movies, there are comics for kids, teens, adults, and mature readers. Here, US, people think even mature readers comics are for kids. Pretty weird how that all works huh?

descent on the mouth, but you need to fix the background surrounding the mouth. If you paste a layer on top of another one you can use the eraser or the history brush to restore the background right up to the edge of that which you just posted.

The eye is kind of boring looking. Most because of the shading of it. It looks like there is a flashlight sticking out of his head where the eye should be. It's too bright.
