just forget that post i got the gift set three days ago and it wasn't working so i got a new one that didn't work so i realized it was the blu-ray player so i just got a new one and now it works so for get that other post

I remember telling everyone about it. But it's lost in the posts. It's over 30 minutes longer than the original. A few scenes were cut to change the storyline drastically. So basically it's to me a completely new movie. It's notjust a director's cut. It's a totally alternate extended film.

I saw the theatrical version a long time ago when I was little. I remember liking it fine though. I have DC on DVD and it's superb. It's the most comic book feeling movie I've seen to date. It feels like the pages of a comic book are just flipping on the screen in live action. Everyrhing from the shots to the graphicness to the dialogue (non cheesy dialogue). Even the saturation and the image of the film are identical to a comic book. It's defenitely the most realistic interpretaion of a comic book onto film to date in my opinion. The beginning of the chuch sequence is a perfect example.

How different were the two story lines?
First of all, that's an awesome banner for a potential Daredevil 2, ntbone. The second D has the II that looks like another D. Great design!

Second of all, how they differ:
Theatrical version has: love scene between Matt and Elektra.
Director's cut has: no love scene, extended fighting sequences, a more complete storyline for why the police would be interested featuring Coolio as the defendant for Nelson & Murdock.

I love both theatrical and director's cut but the director's cut is totally a grade above. The only thing that really bothers me about the movie is that he can see her eyes in the rain....that is total hogwash.

He has a right to speak out his opinion though. And it isn't bumping when something was on the last page. As long as a thread is alive, expressing an opinion on something on a previous page wouln't be considered bumping. I do! :D It's pretty cool. I think the red and blue should be a bit thinner. Because when I move to make it look 3D it gets mixed up. Where I can only see the red with the red behind him or whatever. And the same happens witht the blue. But very good job.
