TOBEY IS AWESOME!!!

Tobey is so cool. He is related to me. Tobey is my cousin and I haven't talked to him in ten years on Thanksgiving. I've seen his career rise to the top in a very little amount of time. He is perfect for the role and he will suprise us all. My favorite guest appearance he did in a movie was "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" where he was the hitchhiker in the beginning. He was hilarious, wearing that Mickey Mouse T-Shirt... I laughed for hours when I saw him in that movie. He will do great in this movie and I can't wait to watch it when it comes out. So you haters out there.... Don't judge him until you actually see the movie and I'm sure it will be a good judge. I'm not just saying that just because he's my cousin either.

Hey Locage I've been watching Tobey since he was on that show Great Scott, does anyone remember that? Or when he played Tripp in that episode of Eerie Indiana? ("We love Tripp more than we love you!") Or Hot ROd Brown? Gosh I can't believe it's been almost ten years since I first heard of him!

I know he is buds with Leo DiCaprio and was buds with Christ Pettiet and they had the same publicist for a while. It is SO sad what happened to Chris, though. I'd written to him once and he even write back so I was quite upset to find out he's passed away. I'd spoken with Bob Villard many years ago as well, and I saw his tribute to Chris online and it was just heartbreaking.

I am very glad to see Tobey getting proper recognition. he's been around for a long time now and it's time for his star to rise and shine. Good for him. And what a body he has! Whoo!

Tobey looks great as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. From the small bits I saw him in the new trailer he has an honest expression that is gonna fit very good for the role of Peter Parker :)

i would proudly say that tobey maguire is a good actor, superb in my word! his credibility is beyond doubts... well maybe at first there are ppl that disagree of him being peter paker due to reasons that they have imposed!
Anyway tobey has proven that he is multi talented actor, who can play any role which is given to him to act it out...
spiderman is big task for him to do that... from cider house rules - thats where i firstly sees him acting... i can see that he is very good, good indeed...

I have been lurking around here for a while now and thought I would just post already! But I am a HUGE Tobey fan. I have seen all of his movies except S.F.W. and his TV appearances which I am trying to find but they seem to be gone from this planet......
But I just thought that I would pop in and say that Tobey is a wonderful actor. I have never met him and am not saying he is my cousin...(Though I wish he was! >< lol) But I am just yet another fanatic that is here and happy that Tobey is getting such recognition for his AMAZING performance in Spider-Man!

I LOVE TOBEY!! He played the role of Peter Parker with just the right combination of geekyness and shyness that it deserves. On the other hand he looked soooooo GOOD as Spiderman. Love those Muscles SEXY SPIDY!!
And I also think that Kirsten Dunst played MJ well too. Both of them had GREAT chemestry. I was a little upset by the ending when she kind of realized that he was Spiderman and she didn't say anything but I guess that leaves things wide open for the next sequel sooo I am really looking forward to the sequel!

Yes, I think we need less of the sports icons pumping steroids, getting busted for cocaine and domestic abuse, less hip hop stars getting into gang fights and throwing out threats - the youth of today is looking up to people they see as role models - whether it's positive or not. We are partly responsible for them - we have a responsibility TO them to provide something more than the negative - and I like Tobey for that. (and Spiderman) ;)

I have been in contact with his mother recently. Everything is cool. Though I haven't been able to speak to Tobey nor see him because he is very busy this year. (For some odd reason).. lol .. I will soon see him one of these days and his mother also. Also I don't look at this network very often. I would rather be working on my music then be on a forum all day.. lol.. (No offense)..
