Where did the neopren spidy costume come from? I one scene his is in a ugly t-shirt with a drawing of the real costume then next thing you know he has the real suit... who made it? What is it made of? Is this scene sitting on the cutting room floor?

Well, logically, he just made it one night.

When you see him swingin' around in his new costume, that's at least 2 or 3 years after the previous scene.

I think they just left out the scene of him making the new costume because it wasn't really exciting or necessary to actually show it.

i have to disagree with you mystic. It's defintely not 2-3 years after the previous scene cause guess what? the prev scene was just after he graduated -_- so you're saying he waited 2-3 years before meeting up with MJ again? and 2-3 years to find a job? :\ uh uh, i say just a few months. and yes, it isn't worth showing :\

Yeah...definitely not 2 or 3 years. Months...yes. Some time had elapsed, but not that much. Unlike the comic Peter gets his powers at age 17/18 not 15 years old.

but itz weird that a science geek could design that ultra-cool costume and actually made it O.o

Costume change? Yep. It was awhile from those scenes. Because it would have showed him moving, unpacking, looking for a job, etc.... so they skipped it. Maybe they shouldn't have skipped it all? The movie would have been longer if they had.

Details of how the costume was created were not a necessary part of the plot, so they're simply left to your imagination. :) It's much easier to gloss over it, and just let you assume that Peter created it in his spare time over the summer. Scenes of Peter holed up in his bedroom sewing aren't exactly action packed. ;)
