Tobey is a stunning actor. He is so very expressive. I reminisce....
When he is kneeling over his uncle Ben and Ben's hand slips out of Peter's. There are some things even Spiderman cannot hold on to.
When he is talking to Mary Jane behind their houses. I wanted to be his friend, too.
When his is chasing the crook that killed his uncle and he stands to sling his webbing from the top of that brass plated (or was it gold plated? I'm not from New York) roof of whatever building that was. Even through that ski mask I saw his raw emotion.
After graduation with Aunt May. I was watching the movie for the second time with my family. I leaned over to my dad and said, "If we ever lost you, I would miss you so much."
There are so many scenes I could cite. When he laughs he shines, when he cries I cry with him, when he is serious I contemplate. Wonderful! I am in love with that young man.

His nose is perfect for that mask. Someone with a dainty little nose would never fit the role because their nose wouldn't show up under the mask. You need someone who is going to put a bump under those big spider-eyes.

I thought there was a helmet/mask under the Spider-man mask to keep the profile of Spider-man's head the same for in cases when a stand in needed to take Tobey's place?

No, it was just a regular everyday spider-man mask. They thought about making the mask a helmet, then it looked too power ranger kind of thing, so they made it with a speacail matterial.

Though it was a joke it still annoys me,my girlfriend knows about this, and she also know that I'm gonna study filmmaking.

I thought Tobey was perfect too and don't worry I don't think you're ***. He made me cry too and worked unbelievably well with Kirsten. I can't wait to see him in some other projects. It's so rare to find a young actor these days who can actually act.

It was sort of a countour mask inside of the cloth mask. There's a fully-sculpted vacuum formed kind of helmet underneath the mask, so that the head shape and the profile of Spider-Man is maintained, and also so that the actor can breathe. It's supposed to look as though it's just pulled over the face, but in fact, it's quite a complicated maks-under-mask if you like. It holds the lenses of the eyes and allows him to breathe through the fabric of the costume.
