I think Electro should be in Spider-Man 4.... - Page 5 - Spider-Man Movie Network

Two villains would not make it too crammed. The reason why I'm up for Electro and Lizard in the same movie is because of an idea someone on another board came up with. Electro causes a blackout in the entire city which not only affects hospitals, putting thousands of people in danger, but think of the possibilities of the Lizard coming out of the sewers, lurking around NY in the blackout at night. At first, Lizard mostly runs around in the sewers, killing workers below the ground, but the darkness causes him to get up. No one would be safe then. A city blackout would also cause problems for Peter to find a cure for Connors, making for quite a good plot. Somehow though, he should manage to cure Connors, but there is this final confrontation left: Electro, who has built up his power with the city's electricity. That would be quite an epic movie if you ask me.

Under these circumstances Lizard wouldn't work as the sole villain. He is a strong character and can have a story, but in a way that story was already done with part 2. Octavius was Peter's friend in a way, for a brief moment, he inspired him, he taught Peter a moral lesson in the begging and then an accident turned him a monster. Not carrying for other people's lives, only doing the thing he believes is right. In the end he was 'cured' and he redeemed himself. Lizard's story is quite the same as this one. In short: a good doctor, who is Peter's friend and mentor turns into a monster and Spider-Man must stop him, but somehow not hurt his friend.

This story would not work. Maybe it will in the fan community, but the general public would not accept it. It would feel as the same story told with only different characters, and Spidey definitely needs something fresh now, something new.

Plus people say that they're tired of sympathetic villains. Well they have no choice but to make Lizard sympathetic. It's inevitable. That's where the other villain who's plain evil comes in.

Yes Electro is powerful but the thing is he's not smart like GG and Doc Ock. That's one of the reasons why those two could easily hold their own films. Plus they were Spidey's greatest foes.

I meant to put another villain with Mysterio. I was in a hurry at the time and I forgot to. Maybe a minor villain like Shocker or Rhino.

Well, obviously I'm not a representative for Sony, so that's my disclaimer, but they signed a deal with the toy company that if they go to 6, they'll still have toy license for it. I think they do plan to do 6. I can't remember the toy company's name off the top of my head because I'm not a toy buyer. The thread discussing this came out long before Spider-Man 4 was officially green-lighted and if you do a search you should be able to locate it.
I don't believe 6 is an official number, it's more like an unofficial number. I'm not sure if they go beyond if they would purposely re-cast or just relaunch (safe money would be on a relaunch).

6 sounds good, maybe a little much though...and if they do maybe get like subtitles or w/e, cause i dont think Spider-Man 6 sounds very good, maybe starting at 5 they could do that, or maybe even 4

and i would like that many Spidey movies, only problem though, i dont want them ending up like some massive franchises that end up being absolute krap like Nightmare on Elm Street, one of the best if not THE best, but it was only the first one (and 3 in my opinion) Friday the 13th is worse, the first three are some of the GREATEST horror movies of all time but they got even worse than Nightmare, Happened with Halloween as well, Halloween 1 and 2 are frickin masterpieces (and some others dont get me wrong) but they just die
so 1 or 2, sometimes 3 are AWESOME but the rest are no good, so you got awesome stories, characters, ect. and it just dies after a small number out of like 7 to 8, its sad
