Poison in the Soul
An excerpt from the Shocker story in Untold Tales of Spider-Man called "Poison in the Soul" by Glenn Greenberg.
"Parker!" Jameson bellowed. Peter winced inwardly, and then tried to give his best smile, well aware that he was failing miserably. "Uh, hi, Mr. Jameson. Just thought I'd stop by to-" "To what? Loiter? This is a newspaper, Parker, not a soda shoppe, or wherever you lazy kids hang out these days!" "Thanks for clearing that up for me, sir. I was just about to ask Glory for a vanilla egg cream," Peter replied, keeping a completely straight face. Beside him, Glory had to cover her mouth or she would have burst out laughing. Jameson scowled at him. If looks could kill... "Instead of distracting my staff with your nonsense, Parker, why don't you get your freelancing keyster out on the streets and get some photos of the Shocker?" "The Shocker?" Peter replied, unable to conceal his surprise. Last he had heard, that old enemy of Spider-Man's was in jail. "Yeah, Parker, the Shocker!" Jameson impatiently told him. "He broke out last night. What, you don't even bother to read the paper you work for?" "Go easy on him, Jonah," said a deep gentle voice from behind Peter. He turned to see the paper's city editor, Joe "Robbie" Robertson, whose demeanor was as friendly as Jonah's was abrasive. There was no doubt that Jameson and Robertson were the yin and yang of the Daily Bugle. "Peter's a busy college student," Robbie said lighting his pipe. "Right now, the only news on his mind is what his midterm grades are going to be." Peter smiled, grateful for Robbie's intervention. But Jonah had an answer for that. Jonah had an answer for everything. "Well, I don't pay him for getting straight A's, Robbie," he said. "I pay him for getting photos I can use for my front page!" "You're right, Mr. Jameson," Peter quickly said, not wanting Robbie to have to defend him any more than he already had. "I'll get right on it, I promise." As Peter said his good-byes and raced for the elevators, he could hear Jameson's voice behind him, calling out, "And don't come back until you've got something for me I can use!" How about breath mints? Peter thought as he hopped into the elevator and the doors closed behind him.

he's one of my favorites too.
seeing what he did in SSM...he would be capable of being a main villain in a movie with 2 villains.

I figure all the Montana as Shocker pics can go in the Spider-Man Television section...but I suppose you could put some here too if they are about the Shocker. I will always prefer Herman Shultz as Shocker though.
