Default Spidey eye

Hey I was just wonderin what the favorite spidey eye era...or whachimacallit...you prefer

(I know I'm going to miss some so add at will)

classic eye:
great for it's sweet super thick black lined look...(my personal fave...im not sure why since its clearly the simplest...but its retro...i love 60s spidey though so..)

(btw this frame is funny in a dirty way haha) ANYWAYS

ultimate spidey eye:
(WAAY big, but also really cool...i always say ulimate spidey would probably fall over in real life because his head is drawn so large haha)

movie spidey eye:
(im sure everyone knows what this looks like, its honestly my least favorite , but im sure it was for costuming puposes...amazing in it's own way--bringing spidey to real life)

...man im gettin tired and i know i forgot some...add if your fave isnt up here!

(..i know...kind of an odd thread...but im random..)

Steve Ditko's has always been my favorite, just love the shape he draws the eyes.

I also got a soft spot for Todd McFarlane, Erik Larsen, and Mark Bagley's big Spidey eyes.

I like the movie lens for the movies. However, I think they need to make sure that the reflective properties don't allow him to be spotted too easily when he's sneaking around on the ceiling. It looks very cool though.

Really, you don't like McFarlane's big eyes? I like Todd McFarlane's Spidey eyes, he looks badass with 'em. One of my favorite Spidey artists, IMO.

i don't like the shape
look:

i do like it when Spidey's eyes change shape depending on his emmotion
such as tight and small when angry or big when suprised, it gives it a cartoony look that actually should happen
cause in one of my "How to Draw Comics" books it says the comic should say everything without words.
if Spideys eyes ALWAYS stay the same then u can't understand it without words.
lol

i just know im gonna get teased again for this as always but the eyes DO CHANGE IN THE 60s SPIDERMAN CARTOON which is another reason why people should love it like i do hehehehe...jk...well no i just take any opportunity possible to promote the 60s cartoon cause everyone makes fun of it

but yeah youre right anytime emotion changes the eyes is awesome...also true about the comic drawing. Are you an illustrator too?
