Wikipedia still has errors and omissions. In this case, they were technically correct, but there are some glaring omissions.

2) Catwoman didn't wear black until Batman: Year One because she wore purple before that. She was still a cat burglar with romantic interest in the hero pursuing her and Black Cat did wind up following that very same path for the Spider-Man comics.

Who do you guys think what actress could pull off Felicia Hardy role??? I was thinking of Kristen Bell today but I think she's too short.

It's going to be a while till I can put any input because my internet is down and won't be back on line untill possibly November. So I mentioned before about
Kristen Bell playing Black Cat. She has the look for the role but I think she's too
short for the part. So I thought of another possible candidate. Do any of you think that Christina Applegate has a shot for Felicia Hardy?

This should be moved to one of the Black Cat casting threads, but I don't think they are horrible casting choices, just not who I would pick.

1st of all, it doesn't matter if they've had a role in Marvel before. Look at Ryan Reynolds: he played Hannibal King in Blade Trilogy before he played something akin to Deadpool in XMO: Wolverine.

Not to mention he might be a more accurate representation of Deadpool in a future movie and definately will be playing DC's second Green Lantern (the first one had a magical ring and was around during WWII-era), the first Earther to join the Green Lantern Corps, Hal Jordan.

That being said, no, I don't think she's right for the part of Felicia Hardy. I didn't even think she was right for the part of Sue Storm, though she did OK with the role.

I'm not a fan of the same actor playing two different Marvel characters, but since Hannibal King really isn't a big time comic genre hero and it's pretty doubtful that he'll be appearing in another film. So I don't really have a problem with Reynolds.

I do wish fanboys would stop suggesting his wife for Black Cat. She's already Black Widow. Both Marvel characters. Similar names. And it's likely Black Widow will appear in more movies after Iron Man 2.

What gives you that idea? The movie is gonna be directed by Martin freaking Campbell. You know the Martin Campbell who saved the James Bond franchise not once but TWICE by casting new actors that the world wasn't that familiar with? And what happened during those movies? i dont think she can...shes not a very talented actress...looks arent everything...her movies recently have been absolutely horrid acting wise

Has Spider-man ever defeated the Puma in combat? Their only encounter I've read personally was the one featured in The Venom Saga. Spider-man dislocates his shoulder during the confrontation and it sort of messes him up for the rest of the fight. Mary Jane admits that she knows Peter is Spider-man at the end of the issue.

yes, ive seen him beat puma 2 or 3 times

I think they usually fight to a draw and Spider-Man usually tries to get away. They've been allies so long now, though, that Peter trying to get back with his ex-girlfriend and Puma's current girlfriend SHOULD lead to them being enemies again if the writers have any sense at all. Puma even bought Black Cat her own motorcycle! Even if Felicia tries to say that it was only a physical thing, Puma should still take it more seriously than she because of his character. And to find out she's sleeping with her ex-boyfriend after they've been sleeping with each other should be just the thing to set up a Spider-Man vs Puma rematch.

Well if Sam Raimi and screenwriter Gary Ross decide to put The Lizard in or whatever villian Peter should face to give drama to his struggle as Mr. Raimi
said. I still think that Black Cat should put into the storyline as well. Not only as he faces his unnamed nemesis but make him the hero as he was ment to be trying to help people, who better than Felicia Hardy to work with. I'm still hoping
for the Lizard to be the foe he faces.
