Do you think there will be a Spidey 4? I have heard many rumors speculating whether there will be or not, so post your thoughts. Do you think that Spider-Man 4 would have the same success as the first two, and would you want to see it?

yes, I agree. I just hope that Tobey signs on for the fourth one because it wouldnt be the same without him. I wouldnt want a repeat of Batman where there is a different actor everytime a new one comes out. Hopefully, though, if they choose to do a fourth one the screenplay will be just as good as the others and wont get boring or bland.

nah the actors they have now should stop at 3 so they have there own triligy(sp) and then new actors can take over and do another 3 movies

I'm not sure I would want new actors. I like these actors alot. They fit the roles so perfectly that it's like the comic book.

I think there will be a Spider-Man 4 if Spider-Man 3 is good enough and does well. Tobey said he will sign on if it is a great script. I have to admit that the last 2 scripts were not phonomenal but they were good and the movies came out even better, so I have faith that for a 4th movie (and maybe even the 3rd if they kick it up a notch) they will make a good script so Tobey can play Spidey. But it would be sort of odd to do just 4, and I'd feel the need for a 5th, but by then Tobey will probably be in his mid-30s. He does look EXTREMELY young for his age though. If I saw him in the street I'd honestly think he was about 20. Maybe 25 with the beard. Kirsten said she won't do another one but who needs her? LOL. And Raimi wants to do as many as possible as you have all mentioned so I think there is a definite possibility for a 4th and if God is on our side maybe even a 5th. But this is only if the 3rd and 4th are good. I have faith they will be though!!! Sorry, I know I always talk in circles guys LOL! What does everyone else think about a 4th?

i completely agree. Tobey does look very young for his age ;-). I agree, Kirsten Dunst can be replaced, but I definately hope that Tobey stays. For me, it wouldnt be the same without him.

there's anyone else that could do it better. they are the perfect team, kirsten, tobey, sam. have you seen other movies with her, she is perfect in each one she seems a completely different person. and that's no different here, on spiderman she make you understand what she is feelin' and what is the problem going on, come on, think about the romance, and forget the villain for a moment.
if you change one person of the team everything will come down, believe me. and for the one that said that she don't like to do what she is doing, believe me, she just do what she likes, I believe that she already has enough money to get rid of something that she would not like to do.

dunst's acting was good in SM1 and so-so in SM2 and her MJ, if you read the comics, is FAR, FAR, FAR, from the real MJ (thats moreso because of the writing though) and Dunst is only there because of her contract, if she could have i think she would have not even done SM2

i agree though there should be more then 3 but we dont need the same people, besides Tobeys getting old, i mean i doubt he can do a spider-man 6 and still look like a 23 year old...as long as the recasting is done right and the director is good they should be fine. Also im one of the people that think there should be a big wait between 3 and 4 (sucks but im thinking it for the movie's sake!!
